Leasing conditions

Necessary papers

To conclude de leasing agreement the following documents are required: identity card or passport, valid driving license, at least one year old.

The client must have

at least 21 years
valid driving license
more than one year old

In case these conditions are not met, the landlord can ask for an extra guarantee that is to be repaid when the car is returned in good condition, with all the documents, accessories and equipment. The car can be driven by the client or by another person only is the latter was mentioned in the Leasing Agreement. Romanian legislation punishes the person who drives illegally as well as the person who leased the vehicle.

Payment

The client can pay in cash or credit card (VISA, MASTERCARD, American Express), in Euro, US Dollars or ROL.
Payment for leasing and guarantee is to be made in advance, according to BNR exchange rate, on the day of payment
The requested guarantee will be recast when the vehicle is returned in good condition (function and body), with all documents, accessories and equipment, as it was leased.
The guarantee is to be used for penalty is case of damage inside the vehicle or body (not covered by the insurance), theft of any parts of the vehicle, loss of papers, vehicle documents or vehicle keys.
The minimum lease is for 24 hours. After the 24h, the next two hours are free. Any delay, more than two hours means the payment of a whole day rent, according to the mentioned price.
In case of not announcing the prolonging of the contract, the police department will be announced for theft
Any fine of the client for not respecting the legislation or for parking in prohibited places during the validity of the agreement

Delivery and taking over

Fuel is not included in the price, it is the clients’ task. The car is delivered full tank and is to be take over the same. At taking over, for the missing fuel, as indicated, there will be penalties 1 euro/liter.

Delivery and taking over the vehicle is to be made at the place, date and hour as indicated by the client and mentioned in the Rental Agreement. Delivery and taking over can be made also in other cities of Romania, as agreed with the owner on a negotiated price.

Prolonging the contract and leaving the country with the vehicle is possible only with the written consent of the owner.

Insurance

Any damage to the rented vehicle, because of the client’s fault or of unknown person, are assured, least the sum – the guarantee – which is the duty of the client. This sum is mentioned in our price offer as GUARANTEE.

In case of accident, it is compulsory to announce the police to see the damages and to receive record of car crash and repair authorization. These documents are indispensable for the insurance and for the repairs. Police record is compulsory in any of these cases:

If you are guilty
If you are victim
If you, yourself are involved
If the responsible part is not identified (ex. damages in the parking lot, in your absence)

Without these papers, the client is responsible with the costs for repairs.

The client is responsible for all damages if these were caused by:

a). Driving the vehicle if drunk or on high
b). Not submitting to the alcoholism tests requested by officials
c). Using the vehicle for illegal purposes (ex. theft, robbery, illegal transport of goods or objects)
d). If the vehicle is driven by unauthorized persons (under the age limit, not declared or mentioned in the Rental Agreement)
e). If the documents and the keys were left in the vehicle when the theft took place.
f).Not announcing the Police of any damage or accident involving the car during the rental period, to obtain the record (where it is specified the alcholemy) as well as the repair authorization.
In the cases mentioned at a. b. c. d. e. f., the client is obliged to pay for all the damages.
